EV & Solar Electrical Preparation
Complete electrical preparation for EV chargers and photovoltaic systems — cable routes, protection, space in the distribution board, wallbox supply and documentation for the HEP grid operator.
Solar systems and EV chargers are installed by specialised partners — but the installation that carries them has to be ready first. We deliver the complete electrical preparation so that the panel or charger installation goes ahead without any further works on the building.
What's included
- EV charger (wallbox) — feeder from the distribution board to the charging point, sized for 7.4 / 11 / 22 kW, type B RCD or equivalent protection, load-management readiness
- Photovoltaic system — cable route from the roof to the distribution board, space and protection for the inverter, AC side of the connection, earthing of the mounting structure, surge protection
- Distribution board — reserved space, protection and room for the meter/inverter; board replacement or extension where needed
- Connected power — checking whether the existing connection is sufficient; if not, we run the power upgrade or three-phase conversion procedure
- Documentation for HEP — single-line diagram, certificate and technical annexes for registering the EV charger or connecting the PV system
- Partner coordination — alignment with the panel, inverter or charger supplier so the installation matches the equipment
When it's done
- In new builds — the most economical option: conduits and routes are laid during first fix
- In renovations — as part of a distribution board replacement or rewiring
- Retrofit — a standalone job on an existing building with minimal chasing
